Introduction to Arduino and Embedded Programming
January 31st - 6:30
Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. The Arduino board is able to read inputs - light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message - and turn it into an output - activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online. It has been used in a myriad of different applications and has developed a large community around it because of its low cost, simple programming environment and the fact that it is open source. It's something that anyone - children, hobbyists, artists and programmers - can pick up and start tinkering with.
