What is v-carving?

Compiling and customizing a 2D design using InkScape. (Sample designs and fonts will be provided.)

Importing and preparing your design for v-carving using Fusion 360 and Simulating your toolpaths.

Setting up and cutting your design on the CNC, and finishing your item.

Age Range: 18+
Level: Beginner

MAXT has computing available for all students and can provide access to them outside of class hours for those who do not have their own machine available.

It is recommended that students bring their own laptop with InkScape and Fusion 360 personal version installed to easily be able to continue sign design outside of class hours. These are both free and can be found at the following links.
