This ten-week all-levels class will revisit and build on the techniques covered in Mary’s earlier hand-building classes.  Students will explore soft slab “collages,” coil/pinch and stiff slab constructions, and solid sculptures, combining methods to create collaborative and experimental works.  Class time will balance lecture, demo, and ample time for hands-on making.  Thoughtful group discussions will center on contemporary ceramics and developing your creative practice. Pre-requisites: this class is suitable for students from beginner to intermediate; ages 18+ unless pre-arranged with studio staff.
