This class will teach you the basics of jewelry making. Learn to work with wire and sheet metal, how to solder, file, hammer and polish. Basic projects will be forging wire and making wire rings and bangles, shape sheet metal into earrings, pendants and bracelets, and a simple bezel setting with a cabochon. Riveting and simple findings such as earwires will be covered as well.

This is a 4 week class 1-4p on Tuesdays. Materials are included - copper and brass. Students who wish to work in silver can purchase additional materials from the instructor.
