MAXT’s Sharing Arts Ceramics Center was launched in 2022 as a place for the community to come together and be creative, no matter what the skill level. It has attracted a wide range of artists who are on display for this show. From professional artists and educators to those just getting into clay. “Alchemy of Clay” is a celebration of the creative possibilities that ceramics offers everyone: From Theresa Sargent’s whimsical creatures to Patsy Belt’s sculptures that tell a family history, from Emily Noelle Lambert playful expressionism to Mary Myer’s precice turned vases - a wide variety of styles and techniques will be on display!

Come to our opening on First Friday - July 7th from 5-7 to meet our artists, enjoy some refreshments and music and even take a tour of the makerspace.
